West Palm Beach is a beautiful palm-tree lined city that offers the perfect balance of entertainment and relaxation for your whole family. You will find plenty to see, do, taste and try.
Free activities
The city hosts many free activities at the waterfront, including a monthly Friday movie night and weekly live music.
Manatee Lagoon
At the Manatee Lagoon, your kids can learn about Manatees and their ecosystems and then head out to the lagoon to try and spot some wild Manatees.
Palm Beach Zoo
Just south of downtown, the family can spend a day at Palm Beach Zoo. Your little ones are able to splash about in the interactive fountains. You can opt for some special experiences, such as taking a selfie with a Koala or meeting a sleepy Sloth up close.
South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
Here you can see many different exhibits as well as visit a planetarium and a massive aquarium. If you kids are restless indoors, they can enjoy the outdoor playground, and your whole family can enjoy a game of mini-golf at the 18-hole conservation course.
Fun on the Water
If you want to spend time on the water, there are kayak and paddleboard tours, Jet Ski rentals, Catamaran cruises and much more.
Mount’s Botanical Garden
At Mount’s Botanical Garden your kids with love the children’s maze and the butterfly garden. Feel as though you are ‘walking on water’ in the wetland garden. On the second Friday of the month, visit for Stories in the Garden and a craft activity.
Sloans
Sloan’s is a quirky ice-cream shop with colorful murals, candy, toys and many flavors of ice-cream to choose from. Try a Sandcastle Sundae which is literally a sand pail filled with five scoops of ice-cream, a cookie, caramel, hot fudge, and whipped cream.
Juuuicy
This is one of the newest spots in West Palm Beach where adults and kids alike can eat, drink, play, learn and relax. It consists of 12,000 square feet of different businesses in one spot with many events and classes for kids and adults. The Juice Bar and Vegan Cafe is under construction, but the art, dance, and wellness studio is already open. Some of the classes available are Sip & Paint Socials, Tango, Salsa, magnet tile play time, virtual reality and idance meet ups for kids and adults, slime making, painting and more.
On 28th September a sip and paint class will be held where kids of eight and over can join their parents for a fun family event. The cost is $30 per person which includes a drink and all the supplies.
A Halloween Kids Costume Party will be held on 26th October with free entry to participate in a costume competition and games on the patio. Tickets include face painting, a virtual reality game/ride, an idance competition and much more.
