From the fun of water parks to close encounters with animals, there are activities aplenty for kids around every corner in West Palm Beach to keep them entertained. What parents may be less aware of is places that offer ongoing activities on a weekly basis for their kids. Encouragym Fun Fitness
In this indoor space, kids can swing, slide, climb, run and jump no matter what the weather’s like outside. There’s a full range of fitness classes, including yoga for children. Kids can get the exercise they need and have great fun in a safe setting.
West Palm Beach Public Library
The librarians host a variety of programs for children of three months to five years old, including a weekly story time. Rhymes, finger play, music, and movement keep them thoroughly entertained.
Okeechobee Blvd. Branch Library
The Little Builders Program is offered here for children from 2 to 5 years old. The class takes 30 minutes, and you can sign up 10 minutes before the class begins at the children’s services desk.
Center for Creative Education
The center offers free classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, calligraphy, creative movement and more. You can sign for classes online. All children under 17 have to be signed in and checked out by an adult.
Petite Picassos Art Studio
This is an art studio and party center in West Palm Beach where children from ages 2 to 12 can express themselves. A weekly camp is also held, and you can visit the website to find class and camp schedules.
Kids Crawl is a free event held on the last Wednesday of every month at Downtown at the Gardens. It features kid’s activities, free carousel rides, arts, and crafts. Every month there are surprises for little ones. In September, the event will take place on 26th from 11am to 1pm.
Children can experience fun activities every day of the week at Juuuicy, a new venue in West Palm Beach.
